Staying for a wedding

The perfect base for a Cotswolds celebration

If you're attending a wedding in or near Bibury, our three cottages offer something hotels can't: space, privacy, and the feeling of having your own home in the village. Each sleeps up to six, so a group of friends or a family can share a cottage and make a weekend of it. Between the three properties, we can accommodate up to 18 guests.

Arlington Row, Bibury in summer

Why Bibury for wedding guests

Bibury sits at the centre of the Cotswolds' most popular wedding venue belt. Arlington Row provides the backdrop that appears in every photographer's portfolio.

After the reception, you walk home rather than waiting for a taxi. In the morning, there's no hotel breakfast rush, just a quiet coffee on the terrace while the village wakes up.

A base for the whole family

Because Bibury sits so close to the venues, a cottage here works beautifully for families with young children. Many guests leave a baby with the grandparents at the cottage while they head off to the wedding, which gives the grandparents somewhere lovely to be for the day and the parents an evening without a clock-watch. Everyone is together again by morning.

The morning after

The morning after the wedding, Bibury is exactly what you need. A walk along the River Coln, coffee at Eleven Bibury, and the kind of quiet that lets you replay the best moments of the day before. No checkout rush. No motorway. Just stone, water, and birdsong.
