The Green Hideaway is the newest and most peaceful of our three cottages. Set directly on The Green, it looks out over open space and honey-stone cottages rather than the flow of visitors. This is the one you choose when you want to properly switch off.
Inside, the living room is built around the open fire that guests love, with two large window seats piled with cushions to settle into. There is a simple, well-equipped kitchen, a dining table, and the kind of quiet that lets you hear birdsong through the windows. Upstairs, two bedrooms each have king-size beds. The bathroom has a shower over bath with reliably strong water pressure. A sofa bed in the living room means the cottage can sleep six, though it feels most comfortable for four.
The cottage looks out onto Bibury's working red telephone box, a Google-listed landmark and a quiet point of difference. The Pig is under ten minutes' drive, and Diddly Squat Farm Shop is half an hour away for the curious.
